Massage Therapist wanted.

Spring Body Care Ltd T/A Rotorua Cosmic Hands Chinese Massage is a Rotorua based company. We are looking for multiple Massage Therapists to join us. This is a full time role with a minimum of 30 hours per week.

Main Duty

Provide therapeutic massage and body treatments to support health, fitness, and rehabilitation needs.

 

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Apply massage techniques to soft tissues, including muscles, tendons, and ligament,s to support healing
  • Use various massage methods to treat soft tissue and reduce the risk of injury
  • Provide treatments to encourage relaxation, improve circulation, and relieve muscle tension
  • Evaluate and address soft tissue dysfunctions, offering rehabilitation guidance
  • Incorporate additional approaches such as acupressure, Shiatsu, infrared lamps, wet compresses, ice, essential oils, and herbal or mineral therapies
  • Review client histories and physical conditions to recommend stretching exercises and relaxation techniques
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment and keep accurate treatment records

The successful candidate must have:

  • At least one year, ideally with two or more years of relevant work experience.
  • A relevant Diploma qualification, or above
  • Good work attitude and good communication skills
  • Strong motivation
  • Physical fitness and could handle the heavy workload
  • Quality workmanship and eye for detail
  • Strong dedication to health and workplace safety
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work with other team members.
  • Strong ability to work independently
