About the Role

This position would suit an experienced MIT, or a new graduate.

CT experience is not essential, as full CT training will be provided within the first 6 months of employment, providing an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and broaden your experience.

You'll be working 32 hours per week, contributing to a collaborative and patient focused service.

The successful applicant will be required to participate in the out of hours roster, as well as be prepared to work rostered duties which include weekend and public holiday dayshifts, evening and night shifts.

About the Team/Service/Location

The Medical Imaging Technologist (MIT) team works in a dynamic, collaborative healthcare setting where accuracy and patient focused care are at the heart of everything they do.

The department has 2 general radiology rooms, a CT scanner and 2 Ultrasound rooms.

You'll be joining a tight knit and friendly team that values open communication, mutual support, and shared knowledge. We pride ourselves on maintaining a positive work culture where everyone feels included and empowered to thrive.

About You

  • Registration with the Medical Radiation Technologists Board (MRTB) of NZ
  • A current APC (Annual Practising Certificate)
  • A patient centred approach and strong communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
