We are seeking a strong, highly reliable leader who shares our vision to take on the role of Restaurant Manager.

About the Role

This is a permanent position for 35 hours per week, with the opportunity to work up to 45 hours per week during peak periods. Hours will be organised through rosters covering Monday to Sunday, between 11:00 am and midnight.

The ideal candidate will have more than three years of verifiable, relevant hospitality experience and will be highly organised, tidy and able to maintain a professional and friendly demeanour, even in high-pressure situations.

As the main connection between the front-of-house and kitchen teams, some kitchen-related experience would be an advantage.

A tertiary qualification in hospitality or business administration would also be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading, motivating and managing the restaurant team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

  • Supervising, training and supporting staff to maintain high standards of service and hygiene.

  • Maintaining appropriate stock levels.

  • Handling customer complaints and operational issues professionally and implementing practical solutions.

  • Developing and implementing strategies to improve sales and profitability.

  • Working closely with the kitchen team to ensure consistently high-quality food service.

  • Organising and coordinating functions and events, including a significant number of weddings.
