About the Role

We are looking for a compassionate Registered Midwife to join our experienced team, to provide high-quality, culturally safe maternity care to wāhine, pēpi and whānau. If you are committed to primary midwifery care, including antenatal assessment, labour, birth, and postnatal care please apply. You will provide labour care for whānau booked under the community team of Te Toka Tumai. You will also work collaboratively with Whānau, Lead Maternity Carers, maternity services, hauora providers and other health professionals to ensure continuity and quality of care.

About you

  • A registered midwife with one or two years of experience and eligible for full registration with the Midwifery Council of New Zealand
  • Work in partnership with LMCs and midwives within the unit
