Our Registered nurses collaborate with the wider clinical team to provide compassionate, patient-centred care across the surgical pathway, supporting patients before and after surgery to achieve the best possible outcomes. This is a great opportunity for experienced surgical nurses to grow their expertise in a supportive and well-established ward environment.

About the Team/Service/Location

Ward 4 is a 34-bed surgical ward specialising in Head and Neck, Upper GI, Hepatobiliary, and Urology surgeries. Our dedicated team also provides expert care for a variety of acute general surgical conditions, ranging from minor procedures to more complex cases.

About You

To be considered we will need the following:

  • New Zealand Registered Nurse, with a current Annual Practising Certificate
  • A minimum of 2 years post registration acute experience as Registered Nurse in New Zealand
  • Recent experience working within a Surgical Ward
  • A confident communicator and natural problem solver
  • Someone who thrives in high energy environments and can prioritise effectively
