About the role

We have Registered Nurse (RN) positions available (flexible FTE) in the following services:

• Starship General Paediatrics (Ward 25) is a fast-paced acute environment and care for children with a wide range of medical conditions, including inpatient eating disorder services.
• Starship Neuro Services (Ward26A) care for children with acute and chronic neurological and neurosurgical conditions, including brain injury, trauma, epilepsy, and disability.
• Starship Medical Specialities (Ward 26B) support children with complex, long-term conditions across renal, gastroenterology/liver, and respiratory services, including patients requiring advanced medical technology support.

About you

To be successful in this role you will have:

• registration with NZ Nursing Council and current APC.
• 2+ years paediatric nursing experience in NZ
• a strong commitment to quality care
• the capability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
• well-developed communication, critical thinking skills and a commitment to family centred care
• a positive attitude, an innovative and adaptable approach to practice
