About the Role
As a receptionist, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day to day operation of the Napier Health Centre. As the first point of contact for patients, whānau, visitors and healthcare professionals, you will provide a welcoming, professional and responsive service. Your responsibilities will include managing reception enquiries, coordinating appointments and patient arrivals, processing information accurately, handling administrative tasks and supporting the wider clinical and operational teams.
This is a varied and engaging role where no two days are the same. You will have the opportunity to build strong relationships with patients and colleagues while contributing to the delivery of high - quality healthcare services. About You
As a receptionist, you will bring excellent customer service skills, strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high quality administrative support.
- Previous administration or reception experience in a customer focused environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships.
- Sound computer skills, including experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
- A professional, reliable and team focused approach, with a commitment to continuous improvement and patient confidentiality.
