Permanent, part-time 0.3 FTE position based in New Plymouth

About the Role

As an Administrator, you will provide essential day-to-day administrative support and coordination to the Taranaki Public Health Nursing team, enabling the team and wider service to deliver on work programmes effectively. This role will include a wide variety of tasks supporting the regional protection programmes Public Health Nursing team, which will vary over time. This position may also support some local administration activities in the area you are based.

About You

As an Administrator, you will be a proactive and enthusiastic individual who works well as part of a team but can use your initiative and work independently when needed. You will be required to work with a range of teams and audiences in this role, so you will need to be an excellent communicator who can engage with stakeholders and network across the NPHS regional teams and the wider organisation.

  • Proven experience in office administration, databases and coordination supporting a manager and team
  • Experience in implementing Te Tiriti o Waitangi in action.
  • Experience working in a medium to large complex organisation or other government agency
  • Intermediate skills in the MS Office 365 suite
