LINCOLN NZ LIMITED, established in December 2022, operates Buns & Rolls located in LynnMall, New Lynn, Auckland. We are dedicated to serving fresh, authentic, and flavorful Vietnamese street-style cuisine.

Position Summary

The Shop Supervisor is responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations of the Bun and Rolls shop. The role involves supervising staff, ensuring quality customer service, managing stock and product displays, handling customer enquiries and complaints, and ensuring that workplace safety and operational procedures are followed.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

·       Supervise the daily operation of the shop and ensure customers receive prompt and courteous service and quality products.

·       Respond to customers’ enquiries, feedback and complaints and take appropriate action to resolve issues.

·       Prepare staff work schedules and assign staff to specific duties according to business requirements.

·       Supervise staff during shifts and ensure that assigned duties are completed efficiently and to the required standard.

·       interviewing, hiring, training, evaluating and managing shop staff.

·       Provide staff with instructions and guidance on customer service, sales procedures and handling difficult or complicated customer situations.

·       Monitor staff performance and address staff issues or grievances when required.

·       Check returned or unsatisfactory goods and determine the appropriate action.

·       Monitor stock levels, conduct regular inventory checks and arrange orders for new stock as required.

·       Receive and check stock deliveries and ensure goods are stored appropriately.

·       Ensure products are correctly priced, labelled and attractively displayed.

·       Monitor the presentation and cleanliness of the shop and customer service areas.

·       Assist with sales transactions and monitor cash-handling and payment procedures.

·       Ensure workplace health and safety, food safety, security and other relevant procedures are followed.

·       Monitor daily sales and operational matters and report significant issues to the business owner.

·       Assist with the smooth and efficient operation of the shop and provide support to staff during busy periods.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must meet at least one of the following requirements:

·       A relevant NZQF Level 3 certificate or higher qualification in business or hospitality management; or

·       At least one year of relevant experience in business or hospitality management

Other Skills Required

·       Strong leadership, staff training, and supervision skills

·       Excellent customer service and communication skills

·       Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced food court environment

·       Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety standards
