Kitchen Hand required for Mainsail Bistro & Bar, Whangaparoa

Mainsail Bar & Bistro is a busy restaurant & bar operating 7 days a week. We are in the hunt for kitchen staff. This position requires a minimum commitment of 30 hours per week, with a requirement to work on Fridays, late nights and weekends.

The Duties include, but are not limited to:-

  • Assisting with food preparation
  • Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness
  • Collaborating closely with our kitchen staff to prepare and cook fresh, flavourful meals
  • Following strict health and safety food handling procedures.

Ideal Candidate:

Skills: Keen to learn, able to follow instructions and have good time management skills.

Passion: Genuine interest in hospitality.

Attitude: Positive, enthusiastic, and team-oriented.

Physical and other Requirements: Fit and healthy to handle early mornings and late-night shifts. Will be required to work on weekends

A hardworking and "can-do" attitude.

Pay for this position is between $25-$26/hr
