About the Opportunity

Are you a Physiotherapist looking for a new challenge, greater variety or an opportunity to broaden your inpatient experience? Our Physiotherapy team at Palmerston North Hospital is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Physiotherapist to join our acute inpatient service. You'll be part of a supportive team of 12 physiotherapists, working across a diverse range of acute wards — from the Children's Ward through to older adult care. This is a varied role that will suit someone who enjoys clinical problem-solving, working with different patient groups and collaborating as part of a multidisciplinary team. You'll work alongside a mix of experienced and developing clinicians in an environment that encourages learning, professional development and sharing of knowledge. Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.00am – 4.30pm

About You

We are looking for a Physiotherapist who: Has around 3 years' hospital experience, although we will consider less experience for the right person Is enthusiastic, energetic, resilient and brings a positive can-do attitude Works effectively and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Holds New Zealand Physiotherapy registration and a current Annual Practising Certificate Is committed to achieving positive outcomes for patients and whānau Has strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills Has excellent organisational and time-management skills Holds a full, clean and current New Zealand driver licence Has previous inpatient or similar hospital experience, which would be advantageous but is not essential
