About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Administration Support person to join our Community, Allied & Resources Team.
This varied role provides administration and reception support across District Nursing, Clinical Nurse Specialist services, Child Development and the VIP Team. You will play an important role in ensuring patients, whānau and visitors receive a professional and welcoming experience while supporting clinical teams with a wide range of administrative functions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Processing referrals before and after triage
- Coordinating appointments and clinic bookings
- Preparing and maintaining patient files
- Providing high-quality reception and telephone support
- Supporting clinicians with day-to-day administrative requirements
- Assisting visitors and service users within the Lambie Building
This is a busy and rewarding role that requires strong organisational skills, adaptability and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
About the Team / Service
The Community, Allied & Resources Team provides administrative support across a range of community-based healthcare services. We work collaboratively to ensure efficient service delivery and positive experiences for patients, whānau and staff.
About you
You will be an experienced administrator with excellent communication skills and a positive, team-focused approach.
You will also have:
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Excellent computer literacy and administrative skills
- The ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Sound judgement and problem-solving ability
- A commitment to continuous improvement and quality service delivery
- The ability to build effective relationships with a range of stakeholders
Previous administration or reception experience within a healthcare environment would be advantageous.
