New Graduate Registered Nurse
Are you a motivated and conscientious new graduate nurse looking to fast-track your clinical development in primary care? 1 Health is seeking a dedicated New Graduate Registered Nurse to join our team. Unlike traditional new graduate pathways, this position offers a unique model of direct mentorship: you will work closely alongside a Lead GP Supervisor in a close-knit, supportive team, gaining direct clinical insights and advancing your skills and knowledge at an accelerated pace.
Please note: This position is funded directly by 1 Health and is not part of or supported by the Health NZ NETP/CAP funding programs.
Position Details & Career Pathway
- Starting Rate: $28.00 per hour.
- Hours & Roster: Starting as a part-time role with a view to transition to full-time subject to satisfactory performance, clinical progress, and positive attitude. Weekend work / rostered weekend shifts are required.
- Onboarding & Structured Induction: Your first 2 months will include designated time working alongside our reception team while gradually onboarding into nursing tasks and duties. This foundation ensures a deep, practical understanding of practice workflows, patient communication, triage dynamics, and administration before stepping fully into autonomous clinical care.

- Registration: Current Registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand (NCNZ) and a current Practising Certificate (or eligibility to register upon graduation).
