We are seeking a Front of House Supervisor to join our team and help ensure the smooth and professional operation of our ice-cream parlour.
Key Responsibilities
As an Ice-Cream Parlour Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

Planning and preparing work schedules and assigning staff to specific duties within the ice-cream parlour's hours of business.

Interviewing and hiring staff, as well as resolving staff concerns and workplace complaints.

Training and supporting Front of House (FOH) staff.

Ensuring customers receive prompt and friendly service, with coffees and ice creams presented to a high standard.

Dealing professionally with customer enquiries and complaints.

Taking inventory of stock for sale and ordering stock as required.

Ensuring adherence to cleanliness, health, safety and security procedures within the parlour.

Cleaning and preparing tables when other staff are unavailable.
Skills and Experience Required
The successful candidate will have:

A minimum of 1.5 years of relevant experience in a related field.

Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of professionalism.

The ability to lead by example and work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Genuine enthusiasm for artisan gelato.

Experience liaising with people from different cultural backgrounds would be an advantage, as our team is made up of people from diverse walks of life.
Hours and Remuneration
- Working hours are rostered between 12:00 pm and 10:30 pm, including weekdays and weekends. The successful candidate must be comfortable working independently at times.
- The pay rate is $25–$26 per hour, depending on experience, for a minimum of 30 hours per week.
- Additional hours may be required during peak seasons, with hours of up to 50 hours per week.
