Emergency Medical Assistant And Emergency Medical Technician
We have an opportunity for an Emergency Medical Assistant or Emergency Medical Technician to join our team in Foxton!
This is a permanent full-time position, working a 4x4 DDNN roster.
In this role you will:
- Work alongside a qualified Ambulance Officer
- Drive the ambulance and assist with the delivery of patient care (under supervision)
- Ensure operational readiness of vehicle and equipment
- Complete other relevant administrative tasks
We are looking for individuals who are adaptable and can settle into our team with ease, work alongside both paid and volunteer staff and provide a high level of care to our patients. The ideal applicants would have a positive demeanour, willingness to contribute to station portfolios, and champion clinical excellence.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A minimum of a Hato Hone St John First Responder qualification or ATP of EMT
- Excellent driving record
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus
- A genuine commitment to the wellbeing of others
- The ability to work under pressure as part of a team
- New Zealand citizenship, permanent residency or work visa
