About One World Café Bar

One World Café Bar is a well-established Chinese restaurant located at Unit G, 12 Amera Place, Huntington Park, East Tamaki, Auckland 2013. We are currently looking for two experienced Chinese Cuisine Chefs to join our kitchen team.

Main duties:

• Prepare and cook a wide range of Chinese dishes, including stir-fries, noodle dishes and steamed dishes
• Plan menus and assist with developing new dishes
• Adjust recipes and cooking methods to meet dietary or allergy-related requirements
• Monitor food quality and presentation
• Manage stock levels and assist with ordering supplies
• Supervise and train junior kitchen staff when required
• Work with the restaurant manager to ensure smooth kitchen operations
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Chinese cuisine cooking
• Good knowledge of Chinese cooking techniques and flavour profiles
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen
• Good time-management and organisational skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food hygiene
