The Recruitment Network is looking for experienced Catering Chefs to join a busy catering team in Christchurch.

This is a casual role with the flexibility to work 4 to 5 days per week, with the opportunity to pick up up to 60 hours per week during busy periods.

There may also be opportunities to travel for catering work during the summer, giving you the chance to work in different locations when you are available.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Preparing food for weddings, corporate events, private dining and functions
  • Producing food in bulk while maintaining quality and presentation
  • Preparing a variety of dishes for different events
  • Working across small and large-scale catering events
  • Assisting with event preparation and service
  • Working with fresh ingredients and maintaining high food standards
  • Adapting to different menus and event requirements

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous commercial or catering chef experience
  • Experience working with larger volumes of food
  • Strong preparation and organisational skills
  • Reliable and flexible availability
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Open to travelling for work during summer when opportunities are available
