Job Summary:

We are seeking three skilled and passionate Cooks to join our team at Vicki Shen Takeaways Limited. This role requires expertise in preparing, seasoning, and cooking high-quality dishes in a fast-paced dining environment.

Responsibilities of this role:

• Examine foodstuffs to ensure freshness and quality.
• Prepare, season, and cook meals according to established recipes and standards.
• Regulate temperatures of ovens, grills, and other cooking equipment for optimal results.
• Portion food, plate dishes, and add sauces, gravies, or garnishes as required.
• Store food safely in temperature-controlled facilities.
• Adapt meals to meet special dietary requirements (e.g., allergies, cultural preferences).
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace.
• Assist in menu planning and estimating food requirements as needed.

Job pre-requisites:

• Minimum two years of relevant experience or Level 4 qualification in Cookery.
• Familiarity with food safety standards and temperature control protocols.
• Strong attention to detail in food preparation.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
• Excellent teamwork skills.
