Requirements

At least 6 months of related work experience, OR

At least a related NZ Register Certificate Level 4 qualification

Must have a Certification in food hygiene and handling (e.g., Food Safety Supervisor Certificate)

Must have work experience in the customer service field

Must have knowledge of Thai food ingredients, as we take food allergies seriously
Job Descriptions

Prepare and cook meals according to menu specifications and dietary requirements.

Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet established standards.

Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in food preparation areas.

Monitor food storage and inventory, ensuring proper stock rotation.

Assist in menu planning and contribute to recipe development.

Adhere to health, safety, and food handling regulations.

Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff and provide guidance when necessary.
Other Details

This is a full-time and permanent position

The wage is $26.50 to $30.00 per hour, with weekly payments

Holiday pay and sick leave will be paid according to the law

You will be working at 3/162 Harbour Village Drive, Gulf Harbour, Whangaparaoa
-
You will work according to a roaster 5 - 6 days each week with a guarantee of 30 hours (maximum of 48 hours)
