LS Bush Inn Limited T/A Lone Star Riccarton are looking for a Chef We are a busy and fast-growing Restaurant & Bar.

Chef de Partie position –

Core duties include but not limited to.

• Cleaning kitchens food preparation areas and sculleries
• Wash and clean utensils and dishes used in the kitchen and restaurant and make sure they are stored appropriately.
• Transferring weighing and checking supplies and equipment.
• Assembling and preparing ingredients for cooking and preparing salads savouries and sandwiches
• Packing food and beverage trays for serving.
• Cooking toasting and heating simple food items.
• Regulating temperatures of ovens grills and other cooking equipment
• Assist chef in preparing and cooking food as required.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standard.
• Ensure all statutory as well as establishment hygiene regulations are strictly adhered to.

Hourly wage rate: $25 - $32 per hour depending on experience and skills.

General expectations -

To be considered for this role you should be a team player and available to work on weekends and will be available on-call (if required) for these positions.

Preference will be given to candidates who are already in New Zealand and have relevant work experience.

All suitable candidates should be able to pass a drug test and a Ministry of Justice/Police check when required.
