Ramesh and Kaushika Partnership Limited is seeking experienced and passionate Cooks to join our culinary team in Auckland. The successful candidates will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring high-quality food service, and maintaining kitchen hygiene standards.

  • Prepare and cook a diverse range of dishes according to the menu and company standards.​
  • Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality and presentation standards.​
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations.​
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring ingredients are stocked and properly stored.​
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new recipes and menu items.​
  • Train and supervise junior kitchen staff as required.​
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area.​

Skills and Experience Required:

  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in a similar role.​
  • Proficiency in various cooking techniques and cuisines.​
  • Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.​
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.​
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.​
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.​
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.​

Qualifications:

A qualification at Level 4 or higher on the New Zealand Qualifications and Credentials Framework (NZQCF) in Cookery or a related field is preferred. ​

Either Work Experience or Qualification is required.

Pay Rate:

The hourly pay rate for this position ranges from NZD $25.00 to NZD $28.00, depending on experience and qualifications.​

Guaranteed Hours:

A minimum of 30 hours per week is guaranteed, upto 40 hours per week.

Additional Information:

This role requires standing for extended periods and working in a hot, fast-paced environment.​
