Cafe Botanix is a popular and fast-paced cafe located in the heart of Papamoa, Tauranga. Known for our quality food and welcoming atmosphere, we are looking for two passionate and reliable Cook to join our dynamic team.

Your duties will include but not limited to:

•         preparing and cooking food

•         planning menus

•          estimating food and labour costs, and ordering food supplies

•         monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation

•         discussing food preparation issues with Managers, Dietitians and kitchen and waiting staff

•         demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures

•         explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations

•         may select and train staff

•         may freeze and preserve foods

About You

If you are our ideal candidate, you will have -

- Either relevant work experience for 2 years or a relevant qualification (minimum level 4)

- Availability to work weekends and public holidays

- Availability to work late nights

- Good communication skills

- Ability to multitask and strong team player
