We are seeking three skilled Thai cooks to join our culinary team.
Requirements

Knowledge of Thai food ingredients and cooking techniques AND
-
At least 2 years of related work experience or
-
At least an NZ Register Diploma Level 4 qualification (overseas qualifications must be comparable to the standard of the New Zealand qualification) or
-
A National Skill Standard Test for Thai Chef (Level 1) from Thailand
Job Descriptions

Inspecting food items to maintain quality standards

Monitoring and adjusting the temperature of ovens, grills, and other cooking appliances

Preparing and cooking meals
-
Adding seasoning to food during the cooking process

Serving food by portioning, plating, and applying sauces, gravies, and garnishes

Storing ingredients and prepared food in temperature-controlled environments
-
Preparing meals tailored to specific dietary need
-
May be responsible for menu planning and estimating food quantities needed
-
May also be involved in training kitchen staff and apprentices

This is a full-time and permanent position
-
Wage is between $27.00 and $30.00 per hour, depending on your experience and skills, with weekly payments.

Holiday pay and sick leave will be paid according to the law

You will be working at 96 Spey Street, Invercargill
-
You will work according to a roaster 5 - 6 days each week with a guarantee of 30 hours (a maximum of 48 hours)
