Job Description:

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Examining foodstuffs to ensure quality
  • Regulating temperatures of ovens, grills and other cooking equipment
  • Preparing and cooking food
  • Seasoning food during cooking
  • Portioning food, placing it on plates, and adding gravies,sauces and garnishes
  • Storing food in temperature controlled facilities
  • Preparing food to meet special dietary requirements
  • May plan menus and estimate food requirements
  • May train other kitchen staff and apprentices

Job requirement: applicant must meet following requirement to apply for this job

  • Cook relevant qualification or certificate is required and
  • At least three years relevant working experience in Chinese Restaurant
  • Chinese cooking skills and a passion for outstanding food
  • Work well in a team as well as individually
  • Be well-organized and able to multitask
  • Have strong Health and Safety awareness
  • Be physically fit
