Job Description:
As a Chef de Partie at our café, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing and cooking high-quality dishes in your designated section

Ensuring all food is prepared to the highest standards

Managing and training junior kitchen staff

Maintaining cleanliness and organization of your section

Assisting in menu planning and development

Adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations

Barista duties
Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have:

Relevant experience in a similar role OR relevant culinary qualifications (e.g., NZ Certificate in Cookery Level 4 or equivalent)

Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices

Ability to work efficiently under pressure

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

- Days required: Rotating roster, including weekends, evenings and some public holidays
- Hours per week: 30-40 hours per week
- Hourly Pay: $25 - $35 per hour
