Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and reliable chef to join our dynamic kitchen team, specialising in Japanese-Korean cuisine.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook high volumes of Japanese-Korean dishes, including chicken, beef, pork, tofu, ramen, udon, katsu, and karaage

Independently manage the kitchen throughout the day, particularly during peak service times

Operate multiple cooking stations (eg, deep fryer, wok, and noodle station) with strong technique and timing skills

Maintain a clean, organised, and compliant kitchen environment

Provide training and support to junior kitchen staff

Communicate effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural kitchen setting
- Cost control (ingredients and labour), and ordering and inventory management
Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a commercial kitchen, with proven skills relevant to the menu items

Ability to work independently and under pressure

Strong multitasking and time management skills

Sound knowledge of Japanese or Korean cuisines, including ingredients, sauces, preparation techniques, and cooking methods
