We are looking for an experienced cook for our busy Indian restaurant in Papakura. 

Location: Papakura, Auckland  

Job type: Full Time  

Duration: Permanent  

Pay: Minimum $25.00 and maximum $30.00  

Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week guaranteed  

Relevant Work Experience Required: Minimum one year  

Willing to work on weekends (Working days will be between Monday and Sunday)  

Job Description for Cook:  

• Raw food preparation, seasoning, and cooking  

• Ensuring the food quality of raw foodstuffs  

• Must be able to cook all authentic Indian curries and tandoori dishes  

• Plan food requirements for dressing and ensure great presentation  

• Regulating temperature-controlled cooking equipment  

• Storing food in chillers and fridges  

• May train other staff in the kitchen  

• Ensuring personal hygiene and maintaining high standards of health and safety  

• To ensure the kitchen waste is kept to a minimum  

• Maintain kitchen cleanliness
