We are Robert 89 Limited, looking for 03 skilled and passionate Chefs to join our team in Wellington, New Zealand. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan menus, estimate food and labour costs, and manage food supply orders.

Oversee the quality of dishes throughout preparation and presentation.

Collaborate with Managers, Dietitians, and kitchen staff to enhance food preparation processes.

Demonstrate cooking techniques and provide guidance on best practices.

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to a high standard.

Ensure compliance with hygiene and food safety regulations.

Train and supervise kitchen staff as required.

Manage food preservation, including freezing and storage techniques.

- The role is based on an assured 30-40 hours a week, but you should be able to work overtime as requested. The work is carried out in Wellington, New Zealand.
Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a professional kitchen, or NZQF Level 4 or above in cookery.

Availability to work weekends as part of a rotating schedule.

Strong teamwork skills with the ability to take direction from supervisors.

Excellent communication skills and a proactive, can-do attitude.

A strong work ethic and commitment to maintaining high culinary standards.
