J & J BROTHERS LIMITED is an accredited employer based in Franklin, Hamilton, New Zealand.

We are seeking a passionate, skilled Cook to create delicious meals for our patrons. This is a full-time permanent position with a minimum of 30 hrs/week.

Responsibilities include:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and quality standards.
  • Operate ovens, grills, and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Inspect food ingredients and supplies to ensure freshness, quality, and compliance with health regulations.
  • Maintain accurate portion control to ensure consistency and minimize waste
  • Manage stock rotation and shelf life
  • Order stock as required

Applicants should have:

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience OR a relevant level 4 or higher qualification.

  • Proven time management

  • Knowledge of manufacturing food safety standards, with a strong focus on quality.
