Chef and Cook

Chef

·       Supporting the Head Chef in the general running of the kitchen.

·       Designing/helping the Head Chef to create and cost menus

·       Managing inventory

·       Acting in a senior role in cooking and preparing meals, taking responsibility for more technical cuisine elements.

·       Checking food quality and overseeing cooking techniques 

·       Managing the kitchen staff, including setting the roster, and handling disciplinary and HR issues in the absence of the Head Chef

·       Helping onboard and train new employees

·       Working within specified budgets

·       Ensuring the kitchen meets high standards of quality

·       Ensuring all food, health and safety and other relevant regulations are fully complied with

Available to work weekends

Requirements

A minimum of one year of relevant work experience is required for the Chef position

In return, we offer:

ATTRACTIVE hourly rate - $28 - $32
FLEXIBLE Working Hours with a guarantee of a minimum of 35 hours per week
