CBK PAIHIA LIMITED require an experienced chef to work in our busy kitchen in Paihia.
30 hours per week minium. longer over most of year. Shifts are varied over 7 days between 8am and 10-30pm
Senior chef able to run busy kitchen when head chef is not there, need at least 3 years experience as a cook or above in a busy kitchen. Ability to perform the following tasks.
Responsibility for operation and organisation of kitchen.
Assist head chef with menu planning
Ensure recipes and and proportions are adhered to.
Impart knowledge skills and training to kitchen staff.
Manage staff rosters in conjunction with head chef.
Spot check dishes for quality of presentation and temperatures.
Follow set policies to maintain food safety in all preperation areas.
Resourcefully manage any issues that may arrise.
Stock ordering.
Any other duties required by head chef or management.
