Seeking One Cook in Auckland to work for our restaurant permanently.
A desirable candidate should be:
- Have 2 years’ relevant work experience.
- Positive, punctual, honest, good at teamwork.
The minimum rate of pay is $27/hour-$30/hour, the minimum hour of work is 30 hours per week, 5 days a week.
Duties and responsibilities:

preparing raw ingredients

examining foodstuffs to ensure quality

regulating temperatures of ovens, grills and other cooking equipment

preparing and cooking food on the menu
-
seasoning food during cooking
-
portioning food, placing it on plates, and adding gravies, sauces and garnishes
-
storing food in temperature controlled facilities
-
preparing food to meet special dietary requirements
-
ordering food supplies, organising deliveries and restocking shelves
-
may plan menus and estimate food requirements
-
may train other kitchen staff and apprentices
