Chef De Partie

We are seeking 2 dedicated Chefs to work across multiple hospitality businesses. As a Chef, you will play a key role in preparing high-quality meals, maintaining food safety standards, and contributing to a positive dining experience for customers.

Work Locations: 

·       131 Normanby Road, Paeroa

·       25 Perata Road, Pukekohe

·       2 Seymour Street, Paeroa

Key Responsibilities:

• planning menus, estimating food and labour costs and ordering food supplies
• Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
• discussing food preparation issues with Managers, Dietitians and kitchen and waiting staff
• demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures
• preparing and cooking food
• explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations
• may select and train staff
• may freeze and preserve foods

Skills & Experience Required: 

·       Minimum 2 years of experience as a Chef OR a relevant qualification.

·       Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

·       Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.

·       Ability to work across multiple locations as per business needs.
