Aarushi Foods Ltd is looking for an Indian cook to work in Levin for our business of authentic Indian cuisine, Manawatu- Whanganui region.

Only New Zealand citizens, residents, or on an open work visa and two years' cook work experience is required in Indian cuisine.

Start date: 20 Sep 2025

Pay rate:$29.66-$30/ hour and the same overtime pay rate.

Work hours: 30-31 hours/ week

Timings: 12 pm- 2 pm and  5 pm -9 pm as flexibly reuired.

Wages will be paid fortnightly into the nominated bank account.

Duties:

examining foodstuffs to ensure quality;

regulating temperatures of ovens, grills and other cooking equipment;

preparing and cooking food;

seasoning food during cooking; portioning food, placing it on plates, and adding gravies, sauces and garnishes; storing food in temperature-controlled facilities;

preparing food to meet special dietary requirements;

may plan menus and estimate food requirements;

may train other kitchen staff and apprentices.
