We are Tan and Hang Partnership, running authentic Vietnamese restaurants situated in the heart of “Sunny Nelson”. We are looking for two motivated Chefs to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
• prepare and cook food according to customers' orders;
• design, plan and price menus;
• train and supervise staff as and when needed;
• adhere to health and safety standards;
• keep work areas clean and tidy;
• order food supplies and cooking equipment as needed.

What's on offer:
- Hourly rate at $25- $27(Gross).
- The role is based on an assured 30-40 hours a week.
- The work is carried out in Nelson/Tasman, New Zealand.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of relevant work experience, including experience in food preparation, cooking and food presentation skills; or a relevant qualification of NZQF Diploma; 
• A positive and flexible attitude as you will be required to work on the weekends, publicholidays and late hours;
• Knowledge of or willingness to learn hygiene, health and safety regulations is mandatory;
• Knowledge of or willingness to learn the details of Vietnamese cuisine is highly desirable;
• Knowledge of budgeting, stock management, and how to price and set up menus is highlydesirable;
• Excellent time management skills;
• Able to travel between two locations within Nelson/Tasman.
