Are you a passionate Chef looking to combine work with adventure? The Fat Duck, our award-winning gastropub in Te Anau (gateway to Fiordland!), needs you for our busy summer season!
We're offering a Full-time position (minimum 30 hours, max 45 hours) at our restaurant in Te Anau, start date is October. We're looking for someone with experience in busy kitchens who can handle a fast-paced environment. You should be organized, reliable, knowledgeable on all aspects of the kitchen and be excited to be part of a great team culture.

What do you need?
- To have (or be near completion of) a Diploma in Cookery Level 5
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a commercial kitchen - and at least one of those years as a Chef d'Partie
What will you be doing?
- Your responsibilities will include preparing and cooking food as per our recipes and FCP
- Ensuring our kitchen cleaning schedule is completed in time and we are meeting our health and safety obligations
- Ensure both quality and presentation of food served is to our standards
- Stock management including ordering, receiving, stock rotation and ensuring adequate stock levels
- Contributing to our menu engineering and development by helping to come up with new dishes
- Working with FOH team members to ensure a seamless experience for customers
- Training and overseeing Junior chefs and kitchenhands in prepping, cooking and service
