Working hours: Minimum 35 hours per week
Working days : On roster including weekends
Working days and Times:5 days per week between Monday and Sunday on roster
Wage rate: $25-$35 per hour

Job Description:
● planning menus, estimating food and labour costs, and ordering food supplies
● monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
● discussing food preparation issues with Managers, Dietitians and kitchen and
waiting staff
● demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures
● preparing and cooking food
● explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations
● may select and train staff
● may freeze and preserve foods

Job prerequisites:
● Bachelor or Higher Degree, or NZQF Level 5 Diploma in Cookery, or
● At least three years of relevant experience.
