One busy Japanese restaurant is looking for one Cook to join.

You'll be responsible for:

 

Examine foodstuffs to ensure quality and freshness before preparation.

Regulate the temperatures of ovens, grills, deep fryers, and other cooking equipment to ensure optimal cooking conditions.

Prepare and cook a variety of Japanese hot dishes, including but not limited to tempura, teriyaki, donburi, ramen, and shabu shabu ect.

Season food appropriately during the cooking process to enhance flavors while maintaining authenticity in Japanese cuisine.

Portion food accurately, plate dishes according to restaurant standards, and garnish with sauces and condiments for optimal presentation.

Store food in temperature-controlled facilities, ensuring proper labeling and rotation to minimize waste and maintain freshness.

Prepare food to meet special dietary requirements as requested by customers.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.

 

About You

 

Minimum 5 years relevant work experience in fast-paced, high-quality commercial kitchen environment.

Strong knowledge of Japanese ingredients and fish fabrication techniques

Ensure quality food preparation and presentation.

Ability to work both fast and accurately

Availability to work during business hours, including weekends and evenings

Flexibility to take on various shifts
