- Hours of work: 40 hours per week,this is a full-time and permanent role. The hours of work will be 40 hours per week, between 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM, Monday to Saturday.
Petromont Fishing Company Limited is an Auckland-based fishing operation company and export our fish products to China. We are looking for an experience personal assistant to work alongside director to assist in facilitating business goals. You are required to cooperate with crew members and external business parties, to ensure the business is operating smoothly and achieves the sales goal.
The ideal candidate should have:

Excellent knowledge of fishing industry and scampi product in New Zealand;

Qualification of Diploma in business or other relevant fields;

Or you have at least TWO years relevant work experience in a similar role, including 12-month experience working at fishing vessel, you are willing to carry out related duties onboard as required;

Excellent communication skills, including writing and speaking mandarin;

Excellent time management skills;

Reliable and able to work under pressure.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Organize meetings agendas, attend and take minutes of meetings, maintain confidential files and business documents;

Act as the point of contact between the company Director and external parties and internal staff on board and shore;

Research the relevant information, prepare reports and related documents as required by Director;

Manage the maintenance of company equipment, to ensure the safe conditions of equipment on board and procurement of equipment;

Liaise and communicate with 3rd parties regarding the export of scampi product, to ensure that the company gets the best deal;

Respond to any inquiries on products, work with internal and external parties to close the deal;

Following and taking actions for any matters decided by director, reports relevant issues that are required to pay attention;

Coordinate with staff to obtain updates regarding the fishing operation status and provide timely status report to director;

May carry out other duties the employer reasonably required, such as related duties in maintaining product quality while onboard.
