We are seeking an experienced and motivated Chef to support our kitchen operations, maintain exceptional culinary standards, and deliver high-quality dining experiences to guests. Youll work alongside a dedicated team to ensure consistency, safety, and excellence in every dish we serve.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook high-quality meals in accordance with company recipes and presentation standards

  • Maintain consistency in portion sizes, quality, and speed of service

  • Ensure all hygiene, food safety, and workplace safety standards are followed at all times

  • Manage daily prep lists and oversee ordering and stock control

  • Liaise with suppliers and handle deliveries and invoices efficiently

  • Assist in the introduction and execution of new menus and seasonal dishes

  • Monitor kitchen performance and communicate effectively with the management team

  • Ensure all kitchen staff are well-presented and compliant with uniform and grooming standards

  • Report complaints, incidents, and accidents promptly and accurately

  • Support a culture of teamwork, respect, and professionalism within the kitchen

  • Perform additional reasonable duties as required by management


Health & Safety

  • Adhere to all company and legal health, safety, and hygiene standards

  • Identify potential hazards and take preventative action to maintain a Zero Harm workplace

  • Ensure compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act (HSWA)

  • Promote and demonstrate safe work practices among all team members

  • Report incidents or unsafe behaviour immediately and assist in hazard control

 

About You

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant culinary experience (a qualification may substitute experience)

  • Confident working both independently and as part of a team

  • Strong leadership, communication, and time management skills

  • Calm and professional under pressure with a strong attention to detail

  • Computer literate with basic administrative and ordering skills

  • Willingness to undergo pre-employment drug screening
