Chahal Horticulture Limited seeks a proactive and organised Personal Assistant to support our operations and contribute to the success of our growing team in the Bay of Plenty region, who will be responsible for the following duties:
• Support the Director in managing daily tasks, addressing staff queries, and ensuring the smooth running of business operations.
• Coordinate and prioritise the Director’s schedule, appointments, meetings, and events to maximise efficiency and time management.
• Administer and monitor invoicing activities, ensuring accuracy and timely processing of all financial documentation.
• Assist in preparing operational and financial reports, delivering accurate information within required timeframes.
• Handle and filter incoming communications, including phone calls, emails, and correspondence, on behalf of the Director.
• Act as the key liaison between the Director, internal staff, and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and follow-up.
• Provide input and assistance in developing operational strategies aimed at improving Business efficiency and processes.
• Oversee documentation and compliance in relation to supplier transactions and purchasing requirements.
• Ensure that all responsibilities are carried out in compliance with company health and safety standards.
• Support the management of day-to-day orchard operations by coordinating with teams and providing administrative oversight.
• Maintain strong relationships with staff and suppliers, ensuring timely responses to inquiries and smooth coordination.
• Represent the Director in meetings where required, documenting key outcomes and ensuring follow-up actions are completed.
• Carry out additional tasks as delegated by the Director to ensure business continuity and
effective management.
The candidate will be required to work a minimum of 30 hours per week and be paid between $25 and $35 per hour, subject to skills and requirements.
Other important requirements:
• Suitable candidates should hold either a relevant Level 5 Diploma or at least 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
