We are looking for a chef to join our team. Our kitchen is quite busy, the successful applicant will be a team player and will stay calm, cheerful and focused under pressure. 

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to multi-task and cope under pressure.
  • Honest, reliable, and excellent time management skills.
  • Hardworking, enjoy being busy and productive.
  •  Punctuality is very important.

 

Job Description:

  • Prepare and cook dishes, monitor all dishes at all stages.
  • Freeze and preserve food properly to ensure food quality.
  • Create new dishes and update menus.
  • Estimate and control food costs.
  • Monitor stock level and order supplies.
  • Monitor quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation.
  • Ensure kitchen facilities and equipment are operational and meeting standards.
  • Ensure cleaning and hygiene of the kitchen, enforce hygiene regulations.
  • Select kitchen staff and provide staff training may be required.
