We are seeking four experienced Chefs to join our dynamic team in Auckland CBD. The ideal candidates will possess a strong background in kitchen operations, excellent culinary skills, and proven experience in managing food preparation within a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

·      Plan and estimate the ingredients in menu items to high standards of taste and presentation

·      Create, develop, and adjust menus and recipes in collaboration with other Chefs and head Chef

·      Prepare and cook dishes.

·      Ensure all dishes are prepared in accordance with portion, quality, and presentation standards before being served

·      Maintain hygiene and food safety standards in compliance with health regulations

·      Supervise kitchen staff to ensure consistent performance

·      Monitor stock levels, control waste, and support cost-effective kitchen management

·      Coordinate with front-of-house staff and manager to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service

·      Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently

·      Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen at all times

·      Report maintenance issues and support continuous improvement of kitchen systems

Requirements:

 

·      Minimum of 3 years’ proven experience as a Chef in a commercial kitchen

·      Strong time management and multitasking abilities

·      Excellent knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices

·      Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet service deadlines

·      Excellent teamwork and communication skills

·      Flexibility to work rostered shifts, weekends, and public holidays

·      Must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand
