The White Tiger is reopening under new management and we are looking to revive and maintain the Asian Fusion cuisine, we were famous for. We are looking for a full–time permanent Head Chef and a full–time permanent Sous-chef to be part of our team. You must have knowledge of Asian fusion food.

This position requires working on weekends.

You will be required to work a minimum of 30 hours/week.

Maximum working hours can go up to 45 hours/week.

Qualification/Work Experience

To be successful you must have relevant work experience of at least 2 years or more in a similar role of which at least 12 months of experience should be in cooking Asian cuisine.

Your daily task will include-

  • Preparing and cooking dumplings, bao buns, seafood, ceviches, rice, spring rolls etc.
  • Participate in menu planning.
  •  Assist in maintaining and ordering stock and supplies of the kitchen.
  • Refrigeration and storing of the raw and cooked food items at the correct temp.
  • Ensure the quality of food is maintained and operate and maintain the kitchen equipment.
  • Preparing the food to meet the specific dietary requirement of the customers.
  • Discuss preparation of the food with the chef and other staff as required.
  • Maintain and follow all the health and safety standards as per the government regulations.
  • Assist in training other kitchen staff if required.

Pay rates both Head Chef and Sous Chef will be between $30-$33
