We are seeking a highly experienced or suitably qualified Sri Lanka Cuisine Cook to join our team in Auckland, specializing in authentic Sri Lankan cuisine.

This is a permanent, full-time role guaranteeing a minimum of 30 hours per week, with a pay rate of $23.50 to $24.00 per hour. 

Key Responsiblities: 
    • Prepare, cook, and present authentic Sri Lankan dishes with high standards and consistency.
    • Plan and develop menus, ensuring a balance of tradition and innovation.
    • Supervise kitchen operations, stock management, and quality control.
    • Monitor portion control, food waste, and kitchen efficiency.
    • Train, mentor, and lead junior kitchen staff to maintain performance and efficiency.
    • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health standards.
    • Maintain kitchen hygiene and cleanliness.

Requirements:
    • A certificate in Cookery at level 4 or above .
    • Or hold a minimum of 2 years’ proven experience as a Chef, preferablly specializing in Sri Lankan cuisine.
    • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
