Baker – Full Time
Location: Hokitika, West Coast
Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week
Pay Rate: $24 – $35 per hour (based on experience)

Our business is growing and extending hours so we are looking for three reliable and experienced Bakers to join our team in Hokitika. This role is suited to someone who has a passion for producing high-quality baked goods, works well under pressure, and enjoys being part of a busy commercial kitchen. 

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and bake a variety of products at a consistently high standard
• Ensure all necessary stock is on hand and maintained at the correct quality and quantity
• Maintain clear communication between the kitchen and shop floor to ensure smooth service
• Check each item leaving the kitchen for quality, presentation, and correct temperature
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and kitchen procedures
• Support general kitchen operations as needed

Requirements:
• At least 1 year of experience as a baker or chef in a commercial kitchen setting
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays as required
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Reliability and a strong work ethic
