We are seeking a highly capable, proactive Personal Assistant to support a rural-based business owner operating across multiple enterprises and a diverse client base.

This is a hands-on, fast-paced role suited to someone who thrives on organisation, can prioritise and execute tasks independently, and maintains absolute confidentiality at all times.

The role is based in a remote Central Hawke’s Bay office with regular travel to town (approx. 25km each way) for errands, meetings, and logistics. Therefore, full driver’s licence is required.

This is a full-time (30 hrs) permanent role, with an hourly rate from $30 to $33, depending on skills and/or work experience. It's a varied and autonomous role within a supportive, professional working environment. We provide long-term stability for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Diary, calendar & task management

• Prioritising and executing tasks autonomously

• Meeting preparation and coordination, including catering/meal arrangements

• Booking and managing travel arrangements

• Document preparation, correspondence, and reporting

• Liaising professionally with a wide range of clients and stakeholders

• Filing, scanning, and information management

• Running business errands and managing logistics

• Exercising sound judgment and strict confidentiality at all times

Skills & Attributes

• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience 

• Excellent organisation, planning & attention to detail

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Calm, adaptable and able to manage changing priorities

• High level of professionalism, discretion & reliability

• Proficient in Microsoft Office

• Xero experience preferred

• Self-motivated and solutions-focused
