We’re seeking a passionate and skilled Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. You’ll be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, with a focus on French cuisine. If you thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment and have a keen eye for detail, this is the role for you.
As a Cook, you will play an essential role in our kitchen, ensuring consistent, high-quality food preparation and presentation.
Your responsibilities will include:
- · Check ingredients and foodstuffs for freshness and quality.
- · Operate and regulate ovens, grills, and other cooking equipment.
- · Prepare, cook, and season dishes to recipe standards.
- · Portion, plate, and garnish food with consistent presentation.
- · Store food safely in temperature-controlled facilities.
- · Maintain ingredient levels and report stock needs.
- · Work efficiently during busy periods and support the kitchen team.
- · Keep high standards of taste, appearance, and food safety.
- · Assist with basic menu planning and estimating ingredient needs.
- · Follow Health & Safety and Food Control Plan requirements.
