The Wrap is located in Gisborne offering its customers a great food experience in Mediterranean/Turkish cuisine, 7 days a week. We are looking to employ experienced cooks for our busy kitchen. You will be responsible for preparing, seasoning and cooking food, as well as maintaining high hygiene in the facility. 

You would have

-        At least 1 years’ experience as a Cook or a Level 4 cooking qualification

-        Experience in Turkish cuisine, knowledge of preparing, marinating, layering and cutting doner meat is a plus

-        High standard of personal hygiene and presentation.

-        Ability to work in a small, high paced and vast volume environment.

-        Punctual, organised & capable of multi-tasking with attention to detail.

-        Experience with health & safety laws and keeping records for quality control.

-        Able to work holidays, evenings and weekends. Our kitchen staff are expected to work between 8 am to 9 pm and you will be rostered.

-        New Zealand resident or a visa allowing to work

-        Full time permanent employment

-        Minimum of 30 hours/week guaranteed

-        Pay rate: $25-$29 (depending on experience)
