We have an immediate need for 6 Client Support people for a minimum of 3 months+  assignments. Responsible for carrying out Client Support activities efficiently to ensure people with needs and their families / whānau receive a supported, person-centred approach to ensure prompt and effective access to the right supports. Responsible for providing impartial, objective and credible advice to client issues and queries in a manner that reflects purpose and values.

Responsibilities include:

  • Schedule and coordinate client assessments, ensuring timely communication and written confirmations where required.

  • Identify and prioritise client needs using a user-driven, person-centred approach and effective resource planning tools.

  • Provide accurate information and guidance on eligibility, services, referrals, privacy, and supported decision-making.

  • Build strong, trusting relationships with clients, whānau, and stakeholders, managing sensitive conversations with empathy.

  • Support clients to access appropriate services, including alternative options for those not eligible.

  • Maintain accurate records, high-quality data entry, confidentiality, and efficient administrative processes.

  • Demonstrate commitment to health and safety, professional development, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

About You:

  • Experience in a customer-facing role
  • Strong systems and data entry skills
  • Excellent communication and phone manner
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure and maintain personal resilience
  • Health and/or disability-related qualification
  • Experience in a health and/or disability support environment
